Privacy and consent
Julebrus is Cantara's Christmas beer tasting. It is run by the Cantara community.

What we store
- Your name and email address from your Google account
- Ratings and tasting notes, group sessions and duels. Badges are calculated from these and not stored
- A weight per season, which is calculated and stored for every participant
- Links to earlier seasons, the decisions about them and consent events, with timestamps
- Earlier seasons' ratings, imported from the public pages on wiki.cantara.no, with the names as written in the old spreadsheets, sometimes with an initial or surname
- Where the organisers have linked earlier ratings to an email address, that address is stored with them
- Pictures of beer labels that you choose to upload, with the time and the beer they belong to
- The teams you choose to play for
- Cheers and emojis you give in "I kveld", with timestamps
- Tastings you plan or sign up for, with timestamps
- Preferences (language and snow), kept in your browser's local storage
Before you have answered
To log you in we store your Google name and email address the first time you sign in, before you have decided on consent. Nothing else about you is stored before consent, and no weight is calculated. If you decline and ask totto@exoreaction.com for deletion, we remove them.
Why
To run the tasting and show results and history.
Who sees what
- Members of a group see each other's scores when everyone in the group has rated, or when the group has been closed
- All participants see your name and your teams, and in "I kveld" which beers you have tasted today, which table you sit at and what you have cheered. Your dice are not shown there, only the day's average per beer once at least three people have rolled it
- Your tasting notes (appearance, aroma, taste, finish and tags) are shown on the beer's page to the other participants, without your name or the time and in random order, only once at least three people have tasted the beer and only to those who have tasted it themselves. Your comment and your dice are shown at the table only
- Planned tastings are shown to all participants with the host's name and who has signed up
- Season statistics are shown per beer
- The history shows the names of the people who tasted in earlier years, as written in the old spreadsheets
- Administrators see the name and email address of people who ask to link themselves to earlier seasons, in the approval queue
- Pictures you upload are seen only by you and the administrators until an administrator has approved them. After approval all participants can see them
- Administrators see every picture that is uploaded, and the name and email address of the person who uploaded it
- Administrators see every participant's name, email address, number of scores, weight and statistics on how they score (for example brewery preferences), to detect rigging
Pictures of the label
- Pictures are optional. Photograph the label only, with no people in it
- You keep the copyright in your picture. You allow the tasting to show it to the other participants after an administrator has approved it
- Pictures are stored in our database, never as public links. Metadata such as location and camera is removed, and the picture is made smaller
- The label artwork in a picture belongs to the producer
- You can delete your own picture. You can also ask totto@exoreaction.com to delete it
- When you delete a picture, the picture itself is deleted. A small record (who, which beer and when) is kept to count uploads against the limits
- If you withdraw your consent, your pictures are no longer shown to the other participants
Earlier seasons
The names from earlier seasons come from public wiki pages. You can ask for your name to be removed. You can also link your name to your login under Me to see your own old ratings. An administrator has to approve the link.
Withdrawing and deletion
You can withdraw your consent at any time with the button under Me. That closes your access, and you cannot use the app until you consent again. It does not delete the data already stored. To have it deleted, get in touch with totto@exoreaction.com. The organisers then delete your data by hand.
How long
We keep the data until you ask for deletion. Withdrawing consent only closes your access. The app uses no cookies beyond what login and security (CSRF) need.

- Scorer og smaksnotater, gruppesmakinger og dueller. Merker regnes ut fra dette og lagres ikke
- En vekt per sesong, som beregnes og lagres for hver deltaker
- Koblinger til tidligere år, beslutninger om dem og samtykkehendelser, med tidspunkt
- Tidligere års scorer, importert fra de offentlige sidene på wiki.cantara.no, med navnene slik de står i de gamle regnearkene, noen ganger med initial eller etternavn
- Der arrangørene har koblet tidligere års scorer til en e-postadresse, lagres adressen sammen med dem
- Bilder av øletiketter som du selv velger å laste opp, med tidspunkt og hvilket øl de gjelder
- Lagene du velger å spille for
- Skål og emoji du gir i «I kveld», med tidspunkt
- Smakinger du planlegger eller melder deg på, med tidspunkt
- Innstillinger (språk og snø), som ligger i lokal lagring i nettleseren din
Før du har svart
For å logge deg inn lagrer vi Google-navnet og e-postadressen din første gang du logger inn, før du har tatt stilling til samtykket. Før samtykket lagres ingenting annet om deg, og ingen vekt beregnes. Avslår du og ber om sletting hos totto@exoreaction.com, fjerner vi dem.
Hvorfor
For å kjøre smakingen og vise resultater og historikk.
Hvem ser hva
- Medlemmer i en gruppe ser hverandres scorer når alle i gruppen har gitt score, eller når gruppen er avsluttet
- Alle deltakerne ser navnet ditt og lagene dine, og i «I kveld» hvilke øl du har smakt i dag, hvilket bord du sitter ved og hva du har skålt for. Terningkastet ditt vises ikke der, bare dagens snitt per øl når minst tre har kastet
- Smaksnotatene dine (utseende, lukt, smak, ettersmak og stikkord) vises på ølets side for de andre deltakerne, uten navn og tidspunkt og i tilfeldig rekkefølge, først når minst tre har smakt ølet og bare for dem som selv har smakt det. Kommentaren din og terningkastet ditt vises bare rundt bordet
- Planlagte smakinger vises for alle deltakerne med vertens navn og hvem som har meldt seg på
- Sesongstatistikken vises per øl
- Historikken viser navnene til dem som smakte i tidligere år, slik de står i de gamle regnearkene
- Administratorer ser navn og e-postadresse til dem som ber om å koble seg til tidligere år, i godkjenningskøen
- Bilder du laster opp, ser bare du og administratorene før en administrator har godkjent dem. Etter godkjenning kan alle deltakerne se dem
- Administratorer ser hvert bilde som lastes opp, og navnet og e-postadressen til den som lastet det opp
- Administratorer ser hver deltakers navn, e-postadresse, antall scorer, vekt og statistikk over hvordan vedkommende scorer (for eksempel bryggeripreferanser), for å oppdage juks
Bilder av etiketten
- Bilder er valgfrie. Ta bare bilde av etiketten, uten personer
- Du beholder opphavsretten til bildet ditt. Du lar smakingen vise det til de andre deltakerne etter at en administrator har godkjent det
- Bildene lagres i databasen vår, aldri som offentlige lenker. Metadata som sted og kamera fjernes, og bildet gjøres mindre
- Etikettens grafikk i bildet tilhører produsenten
- Du kan slette bildet ditt selv. Du kan også be om sletting hos totto@exoreaction.com
- Når du sletter et bilde, slettes selve bildet. En liten oppføring (hvem, hvilket øl og når) beholdes for å telle opplastinger mot grensene
- Trekker du samtykket tilbake, vises bildene dine ikke lenger for de andre deltakerne
Tidligere år
Navnene fra tidligere år kommer fra offentlige wikisider. Du kan be om å få navnet ditt fjernet. Du kan også koble navnet ditt til innloggingen din under Meg, så ser du dine egne gamle scorer. En administrator må godkjenne koblingen.
Trekke tilbake og sletting
Du kan trekke samtykket tilbake når som helst med knappen under Meg. Da stenges tilgangen din, og du kan ikke bruke appen før du samtykker på nytt. Dataene som allerede er lagret, slettes ikke av dette. Vil du at de slettes, ta kontakt med totto@exoreaction.com. Arrangørene sletter da dataene dine for hånd.
Hvor lenge
Vi beholder dataene til du ber om sletting. Å trekke samtykket stenger bare tilgangen din. Appen bruker ingen informasjonskapsler utover det som trengs for innlogging og sikkerhet (CSRF).
